Zhengzhou ICEC scoops China Top Ten Marketing Award

CHINA - Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre (ZZICEC) has won the China Top Ten Marketing Award at a national industry awards ceremony in Beijing organised by the China Conference and Exhibition magazine.

The awards were designed to celebrate Chinese meetings industry achievement over the past decade.

ZZICEC has been managed by Hong Kong-Shanghai Venue Management Zhengzhou (VMZL) since June 2006 and CEO of Hong Kong CEC Cliff Wallace, also Chairman of the VMZL, paid special credit to his marketing and sales team, “who,” he said, “have put in lots of effort in promoting the ZZICEC locally and internationally since the opening in 2006”.

Since 2006, ZZICEC has hosted 535 international and national events including 381 conventions and 154 exhibitions. These events utilised a total exhibition area of 23,260 sqm.

More than 5.6m visitors from China and abroad have come through the doors for major events in this time, including for such large shows and conventions as the 2010 Dynamic Macao Business and Trade Fair,  the 2010 China International Agriculture Products Trade Fair and the 2010 Zhengzhou International Automobile Expo, China Automobile Parts Fair and China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition.
