Intertraffic exhibition heads to India

INDIA - Traffic technology exhibition Intertraffic will debut in India in October 2011.

Running from 3 to 5 October at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, Intertraffic India will be jointly organised by Amsterdam RAI and the International Road Federation (IRF).

Intertraffic events already take place in the Netherlands, Turkey, China and India.

India manufactures about 12 million 2- and 4-wheeled vehicles per year, and saw a 26 per cent increase in car sales in 2009.

The 6th IRF Regional Conference on Road Safety will be held alongside the show.

International exhibition organiser UBM Canon also recently announced Indian launch events.
