ABU DHABI - Reed Exhibitions will partner with information provider Bloomberg New Energy Finance to launch the Project Village mini-expo at the World Future Energy Summit 2011 (WFES).
The Project Village will provide a dedicated platform for project developers in the fields of renewable, alternative and clean energy to share innovations and discuss research and development projects. Developers will have dedicated booths to showcase their products, and a theatre room for presentations.
“WFES brings together policy creators and business decision makers to help find solutions to the world’s energy challenges,” said Reed Exhibitions president Frederic Theux, “and the introduction of the Project Village is a key element to achieve this goal. For the first time at WFES, innovative clean energy project developers will have a dedicated platform to engage with the world’s leading technology and financing solutions providers, driving growth in this market.”
The summit will take place at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in Abu Dhabi from 17 to 20 January.
In the USA, several exhibition venues have announced projects to install solar panels on the venue roofs. The Minneapolis Convention Centre recently completed a 2,613-pane solar array.
