UK – Reed Travel Exhibitions’ Head of Sales in the Meetings and Events Portfolio, Fiona Chappell, has been appointed the newly-created role of Director Business Development Europe for the Melbourne Convention and Visitors Bureau (MCVB) and Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).
CMW recently announced MCVB had merged its business development and convention sales teams to provide a more integrated approach to our budding process.
“At Reed Travel Exhibitions Chappell was responsible for the development and management of sales strategies across a portfolio of five global B2B events,” says MCVB CEO, Sandra Chipchase. “This experience ideally places her to grow our operations throughout the important UK/Europe region.”
Chappell will be based in MCVB and MCEC’s new office in London from the start of the New Year.
