China World Expo pavilion reopens for six months

CHINA - The Chinese Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo has reopened to the general public as a visitor attraction.

The attraction will stay open from 9am to 5pm every day for the next six months in a drive to keep visitors coming to the region. The World Expo officials have estimated over 10m people will visit the attraction over the upcoming months.

Tickets can only be bought onsite, even for groups, and cost RMB20 (US$3) for adults.

This year's World Expo in Shanghai was visited by 73m people, according to the Chinese Government. The next event will be held in Milan, Italy, in 2015.
