Dubai to launch new consumer-facing brand identity

UAE - Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has launched a new visual brand identity; Definitely Dubai.

The new identity will be rolled out across all future marketing collateral and campaigns globally and was developed as part of the destination’s long term strategy to bring visitors to Dubai.

“Definitely Dubai will have a contemporary edge, reflecting the Dubai offering and making it relevant to the diverse market to which the destination appeals,” said UK and Ireland director of the Government of Dubai at DTCM, Ian Scott.

A new website has been launched and Scott confirmed that specific UK and Ireland content will be added by the end of 2010.

“It heralds a new era for DTCM in our drive to promote Dubai, and particularly to UK and Irish travellers. Definitely Dubai will provide the umbrella for a consumer brand campaign, with tactical activity to follow early next year,” he added.
