TAIWAN - The Taipei World Trade Centre Nangang Exhibition Hall will be upgraded to a national-level exhibition centre by 2013.
According to the Bureau of Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the US$208m project will be a cooperative effort between the economics ministry and the City of Taipei. The expansion will almost double the venue’s exhibitor capacity.
The development is part of government plans to develop Taiwan’s exhibition and events industry.
