Cygnus Business Media is to rebrand its annual Aviation Industry Expo, renaming it Cygnus Aviation Expo.
According to the executive VP of the newly-formed Cygnus Aviation group, Patrick Nadler, this move “is vital to engage industry professionals within a rapidly evolving marketplace that will be completely transformed over the next three decades”.
Beyond the new name, the exhibition will expand its content program to include a full-day training class for mechanics and a series of new seminars. A company spokesperson declined to offer specific attendance numbers, but they indicated that overall attendance for the 2010 event grew six per cent against 2009.
The 2011 edition is scheduled for 23 to 25 February and will return to the Las Vegas Convention Centre.
