Mulpha Events, Australian owner-operator of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), has announced its acquisition of the Australian Adventure Expo (AAE) from Brooks Events. The AAE, Australia’s sole trade exhibition for the outdoor adventure, 4x4, fishing, and hunting sector, launched in 2021 and serves the $AUD11bn outdoor recreation market by connecting importers, wholesalers, manufacturers, and service providers with resellers in the Australasian region.

Greg Shaw, CEO of Mulpha Australia, said: “We have watched the progress of the Australian Adventure Expo over the last few years, and we are incredibly excited to welcome it to our portfolio of events. We also look forward to welcoming the AAE team to the Mulpha Australia family.”

We look forward to seeing its continued growth and success with Mulpha Events – their experience and knowledge make them the perfect fit…I am thrilled to join the Mulpha Events team in making the Australian Adventure Expo an even bigger success.”
Johan Hasser, general manager of Mulpha Events, said: “Louise Brooks has done a fantastic job building the exhibition, and we’re excited for the future potential of the Australian Adventure Expo.” He added that Mulpha Events continuously seeks new opportunities to expand their portfolio, leveraging the resources within Mulpha Australia to take on more events both locally and internationally.
