Maastricht polishes its Stainless Steel credentials

MECC Maastricht and exhibition organiser KCI Publishing have signed a contract for the next two editions of Stainless Steel World (2021 and 2023).

The 2019 edition runs at MECC Maastricht from 26-28 November 2019 and had an estimated 7,000 visitors and 300 exhibitors.

Elisa Hannan, Director of KCI Publishing, said: “The size of MECC Maastricht is ideal for organising a tradefair and congress simultaneously… The location in the heart of Europe, with Germany and Belgium just a stone’s throw away, makes it possible to easily reach these markets.”

Frank Mimpen, Commercial Director MECC Maastricht, added: “We are extremely proud that such a leading international trade fair has opted for MECC Maastricht for many years and has now also committed to 2021 and 2023. The loyalty and service orientation of our employees demonstrates the importance of a successful partnership.”

Two related international exhibitions are also taking place in parallel to Stainless Steel World this year. One is a new brand for the sector: the new Machining World tradefair, a three-day international exhibition dedicated to manufacturers, sellers and users of CNC equipment, processing benches and other tools and equipment for steel processing.

These shows were joined with the addition of Hose & Coupling World.

On 26 November, KCI, together with its exhibitors and visitors, celebrated its 30thanniversary in the halls of MECC Maastricht, where they also signed the contract for the next two editions of Stainless Steel World at MECC Maastricht in 2021 and 2023.
