LED Expo shines in May in Mumbai; sets sights on November New Delhi date

The most successful Mumbai edition in the series: LED Expo Mumbai 2022 made an in-person comeback at the end of May, attracting a record-breaking footfall of 12,934 visitors.

The 23rd edition of LED Expo provided a business platform displaying a variety of ‘Make-in-India’ LED products, components and applications. Bringing 179 exhibitors and over 1,000 products on display, LED Expo Mumbai 2022’s visitors came from 21 countries and 29 Indian states. Moreover, the trade fair hosted over 50% of new entrants. 

The trade fair displayed a range of energy-efficient LED lighting systems and products, including smart lighting & IoT controls, semi-conductors, solar-powered LED lighting products and solutions, components, accessories and raw materials, manufacturing equipment, machinery and allied products, drivers and power supply, as well as signage and display products. 

After interacting with exhibitors on the show floor, Shri Dinesh Waghmare, IAS, honourable principal secretary, Energy Department – Government of Maharashtra, shared: “It was great to meet several MSMEs among the exhibitors and interact with them. Clean and green energy is the future. With the adoption of LED, there will be a huge saving in energy consumption in Maharashtra up to 572 megawatts and 2.5 million tonnes of carbon emissions will also be reduced.”

Over its three business days, LED Expo Mumbai 2022 hosted top brands, including Cygnus Lighting, Geep Industries, LC Tech LLP, Lemonlite, Litomatic, Nirvana Lighting Pvt Ltd, Power Palazzo, Pride Lighting Pvt Ltd, Semiconic and Smartlight (Lightshop) under its roof.

Witnessing an incredible response from business visitors, Mr Kishore Agarwal, director, Cygnus Lighting LLP, shared: “It has been a fantastic platform for us. Lots of visitors have attended this exhibition and we definitely received good footfalls. LED Expo has proven extremely beneficial for both manufacturers and buyers who have participated this year.”
