Italian Exhibition Group “ready to take off again” with 2021 events

The Italian Exhibition Group has said it is “ready to take off again”, as it plans a handful of events for 2021.

SIGEP, the International Trade Show of Artisan Gelato, Pastry and Bakery, and Coffee World, will launch their “Road map to SIGEP 2022” with a digital event in March. The physical edition will be held from 22-26 January 2022 at Rimini expo centre.

Beer & Food Attraction and BBTech Expo, the professional exhibition of technology for beers and beverages, will also build up to the 2022 event with a digital edition from 12-14 April.

Vicenzaoro, a gold and jewellery tradeshow, will be held in Vicenza from 10-14 September, along with T.GOLD, an international show for jewellery machinery and technology, and VO Vintage, for premium vintage watches and jewellery.

There is also activity on the conference front, with the development of new all-digital events and the confirmation of more than ten major conferences between 2021 and 2025. These will include the 29th Congress of the European College of Sport Science (3-5 July 2024).

IEG President Lorenzo Cagnoni said: “Fundamental strategic choices made to keep the engines running mean we are now ready to take off again, along with the companies we work with. We have an overall replanning of the calendar and formats of the events foreseen in the first part of 2021.”

IEG CEO Corrado Peraboni (pictured) added: “Trade fairs are and will remain the most powerful business multipliers.”
