The Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) has launched its subsidiary IEG Deutschland, having already expanded its presence into countries including the Arab Emirates, the USA, China, Mexico, India, and Brazil.
The launch is part of IEG’s wider internationalisation project, with the move following IEG’s recent announcement of its arrival in North America with Deutsche Messe.
IEG Deutschland stated that, on opening, it has several objectives: to boost IEG’s presence in Germany, establish relationships with the German association and business worlds, and organise delegations of German exhibitors and visitors who attend the Italian IEG exhibitions.
The new country manager of IEG Deutschland has additionally been announced. Thomas Grenot has experience in the German exhibition market, having worked in the industry since 2004. The venue has called for new on-site professionals to support Grenot in his aim to grow IEG Deutschland’s activities.
