The Exhibition and Convention Executives Forum (ECEF) has announced the programme for its online debut on 18 November.
Sam Lippman (pictured), president of Lippman Connects, the producer of the US-based ECEF, curated the programme to "promote information sharing and innovation". He said: “On 18 November, event industry leaders — wherever they are — will be able to engage with presenters and each other via Freeman’s state-of-the-art virtual meeting platform.
“In addition to general sessions, we are introducing breakout sessions and box lunch discussions to leverage the increased engagement and connections made in small groups.”
Prior to the event, all registrants will have access to on-demand content from 16 November.
Keynote and general session presentations include: Sam Lippman presenting 'Five Key Data Points in Five Minutes'; the opening keynote by Shelly Palmer, CEO of The Palmer Group on 'Post-Pandemic Winner or Loser? Choose!'; Kai Hattendorf, managing director/CEO of UFI and Mark Cochrane, regional manager of Asia Pacific for UFI presenting 'What a Rebound Looks Like: View from Asia and Europe'; and the closing keynote by Julie Cottineau, founder and CEO of BrandTwist, on 'Three Branding Rules for the Pandemic: TWISTING Adversity into Advantage'.
The TechDemo will be held online, too, featuring up to 20 event tech solutions.
