The 2019 edition of Coex Food Week, held over four days in Seoul, South Korea, recently drew 1,900 exhibition stands.
The event had a Korea Food Tech Conference, a ‘Top Patissier Asia’ contest and big crowds for what is now Korea’s largest food expo.
Coex Food Week saw 44,125 visitors and buyers representing the full gamut of the global food and beverage industry.
The show spread across all four exhibition halls of Coex; Korea’s largest and busiest events centre.
A co-located forum, The Korea Food Tech Conference, welcomed 250 delegates.
Since its launch in 2006, Coex Food Week has grown to become Korea’s leading tradeshow for the global food and beverage industry.
Coex Food Week 2020 will run 25-28 November 2020.
Soo Lee Lim, Project Manager of Coex Food Week, tells EW: “2019 Coex Food Week 2019 saw a 12% increase the number of booths compared with 2018. This year's expo saw a press conference to announce the launch of new exhibition, ‘Food Industry Technology Show’ (FITS). FITS will be held for the first time in concurrence with Coex Food Week 2020, from 25 November to 28 November 2020, focusing on high-tech innovation in the F&B field.”
