Sustainable energy exhibition Genera is coming to Spain’s IFEMA Feria de Madrid from 5-7 February 2020.
The show has grown 31% compared to last year’s event with three months still to go, and will focus this year on the theme of ‘integrating energies for a sustainable future’.
Innovation, sustainability and business are the main lines of this edition of Genera, that will bring together leading companies and professionals to exchange knowledge, and discuss strategies.
The trade fair will provide a comprehensive view of the industry situation, and focus on the challenges that society faces regarding renewable energies, energy distribution, demand management, storage, self-consumption and mobility.
Genera will launch a new initiative this year titled Genera Solar, a specific area that will address where the decarbonisation process is in Spain, with the focus on photovoltaic and thermosolar energies and their current applications. There will be specific conferences and activities relating to this theme.
On the 24 and 25 October, representatives from Genera were also present at ‘Cogeneration: efficient and clean heat and energy for a sustainable energy future for Europe’, a meeting within the ‘15th Annual Cogeneration Congress’, organised by ACOGEN, COGEN España and COGEN Europe.
This forum brought together about a hundred experts, cogenerators, industrialists and suppliers to address the role of cogeneration in the energy transition.
