Exhibition World and MBB Consulting host roundtable discussion about AI

Exhibition World is the media partner for a pair of roundtable discussions being hosted by MBB Consulting Group.

The two roundtables will be on 17 and 18 October at the Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, London. The series is titled ‘Shaping the future of the event industry’.

The first discussion will be around ‘The route to artificial intelligence in the exhibition industry’, while the second will be ‘How commercially fit is the exhibition industry?’.

The discussion around AI will see MBB present its in-depth research into the use of AI in the exhibition industry, as well as a range of best practice example. It will examine what AI standards we can expect at future exhibitions, and how these can be translated into reality.

The second discussion will present MBB research into the ‘commercial DNA’ of the exhibition industry. It will look at the encroaching influence of Google, LinkedIn and other new competitors – and how this can be combatted.

The second roundtable will end with an evening programme, which wll include a rock ‘n’ roll walking tour, exploring where the young Rolling Stones and David Bowie performed their first gigs.

This will be followed by a ‘wine tasting that doesn’t exist’, where attendees will open a bottle of vintage Grand Cru that is notoriously hard to find.
