Ecobuild has announced GES as the full service event partner for its 2018 event. The decision is part of the commitment by ecobuild owner, Futurebuild Events Ltd, to ensure sustainability is a central focus of the event. All partners and exhibitors to the 2018 event will reflect this ethos.

A key factor to ecobuild’s selection was GES’ continued commitment to health, safety and sustainability. Earlier this year, GES received the industry recognised ISO20121 sustainability accreditation for the fifth year running and is one of few live events partners to be awarded the OHSAS 18001 health and safety accreditation by the British Safety Council.

Martin Hurn, managing director of ecobuild, commented: “It is vital for ecobuild to have a partner which can help us deliver the most environmentally friendly ecobuild yet. GES’ credentials speak for themselves. They know the event inside and out and they share our passion for truly sustainable events. We are excited GES is by our side as strategic partners as we take ecobuild in a new, exciting direction.”

GES has worked on ecobuild since 2011 and will provide its suite of market leading and eco-friendly event services including feature build, graphics, logistics, AV and space only stand packages.

Jason Stead, UK managing director of GES said: “ecobuild is a pioneering event that continues to change the industry’s behaviour towards sustainability. The organisers can see that we share the same drive and determination when it comes to health, safety and sustainability in our industry. We are honoured to continue this exciting partnership in 2018.”
