Benedikt Binder-Krieglstein (pictured right) has been announced as the new chairman of the executive board at Reed Exhibitions in Austria, effective 1 November 2017.
Binder-Krieglstein will succeed Martin Roy (pictured left) who has chosen to leave Reed Exhibitions at the end of October to pursue new avenues of professional opportunity.
“We are very grateful to Martin Roy for his achievements over the past 15 years and are extremely reluctant to let him go,” said Kumsal Bayazit, European president of Reed Exhibitions.
“However, in Benedikt Binder-Krieglstein we are very fortunate to have a successor with vision and plenty of drive who has already made a significant contribution to the company’s continued development in his role as operative CEO at Reed Messe Salzburg and Reed Messe Wien,” he concluded.
The corporate group in Austria consists of Reed Exhibitions Messe Salzburg, Reed Exhibitions Messe Wien, and the event construction and equipment providers STANDout.
