Media 10, organiser of Ideal Home Show and Grand Designs Live, has announced a series of key appointments and promotions.
Richard Morey (pictured left), previously group event director, will now undertake the role of managing director of the firm, while Mike Dynan (pictured right), previously event sales director, has moved to the role of managing director of Media 10 China to focus on its expansion in Asia.
“We as a team at Media 10 feel that we are in a prime position to grow the business, bigger than we have done so far,” said Lee Newton, Media 10 CEO.
“We plan to continue the rapid growth that we have seen in the last few years so that we can again double the size of the business over the next five years. Media 10 has several new launches already confirmed for 2017 along with its planned organic growth within the company’s construction division and overseas offices."
EN30/30 member Anthony Goodey (pictured above) has been promoted to show manager for Grand Designs Live, while Stephen Blackie has been promoted to sales director, partnering with show director of the construction division, Nathan Garnett.
Joanna Hacking, formally from Deloitte, has replaced Eric Wenham, who has retired as finance director.
The new management board also now includes: Giles Perry, Dan Assor, Nathan Garnet and Stephen Blackie.
Newton, whose position and role as CEO remains unchanged, said: “This is only the start of our future expansion, and we now feel like we need a new structure that can cope with the anticipated growth through acquisition and launches of new shows. We believe that this new structure combined with our fantastic management team will help us to do this.”
