I2i Events Group has reported a successful first edition of Money20/20 Europe, following the firm’s acquisition of the event portfolio.
Held on 4-7 April at the Bella Center, Copenhagen, the event welcomed around 3,700 attendees from 75 countries and attracted more than 200 sponsors and 422 speakers.

The event was acquired by i2i Events Group in 2014, and a brand expansion into Europe was announced with a view to providing a new focus on the opportunities and challenges specific to Europe.
Notable keynotes in Copenhagen included Ann Cairns, president of International Markets MasterCard; Nicolas Huss, CEO Visa Europe; Carlos Torres, CEO BBVA; Hikmek Ersek, CEO Western Union and Ralph Hamers, CEO ING Group.
