The organiser of one of south east Asia’s largest exhibitions and conferences for airport professionals, inter airport, has confirmed dates for the show’s fifth edition in 2017.
Inter Airport South East Asia, organised by Mack Brooks Exhibitions, will be held on 15-17 February 2017 at Singapore Expo.
More than 3,000 airport professionals attended the show’s 2015 edition in January in Singapore, with organisers reporting requests from exhibitors to re-book equivalent or larger space for 2017.
Michael Wilton, exhibition director at Mack Brooks Exhibitions said the event had a strong history of showcasing leading suppliers and technology for the airport sector.
“The 2015 event enabled those responsible for the creation, upgrading, maintenance, and development of airports across the region in order to meet, learn, discuss, and discover the very best solutions to their demands,” Wilton said. “The 2017 edition will be larger and provide a wider range of airport equipment, technology, security, design, and service providers than ever before.”
The 2017 edition of inter airport will feature a stronger conference and education component, including co-located events such as the Smart Airports South East Asia Conference, which is expected to attract senior airport managers from across the region.
Inter airport is supported by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), Singapore Tourism Board (STB), German Airport Technology & Equipment Association (GATE) and British Airports Services and Equipment Association (BASEA).
Inter Airport South East Asia is part of a stable of Inter Airport events that includes Inter Airport Europe and Inter Airport China.
