ASIA - Michael Kruppe has been appointed new general manager of the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).
Kruppe’s appointment follows the departure of Hans-Jorg Geduhn, who leaves the company at the end of January 2014.
Kruppe assumes the role on 1 February 2014, having worked in the sales and marketing industry in China in various sectors for almost 25 years.
Earlier this month Messe Frankfurt confirmed it was postponing the spring edition of Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles until 2015.
