InterBev Beverage 2014 co-locates with FMI Connect event

AMERICAS - The North American arm of Messe Nuremberg (NMNA) has joined forces with the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) to co-locate two shows in Chicago.

InterBev Beverage 2014 will run concurrently with FMI Connect: The Global Food Retail Experience on 10-13 June.

FMI Connect is the new FMI show, with more than 15,000 retailers and wholesalers and 900 exhibitors expected to attend.

“InterBev is the premier beverage trade show in North America, and given the strength of the beverage category in recent years, their presence will provide food retailers with multiple opportunities to explore new product innovations,” said FMI president and CEO Leslie Sarasin. “Interacting with InterBev’s impressive roster of exhibitors will spark new levels of creativity that can help to transform the beverage channel.”

Dirk Ebener, CEO and managing director of NMNA said: “InterBev is proud to co-locate with FMI in 2014 to bring together the beverage industry and its valued retail customers. “This co-location will best serve exhibitors and attendees by combining two great shows under one roof.”

In September 2011, NMNA acquired the beverage industry exhibition InterBev from the American Beverage Association (ABA). The trade association will continue to support InterBev through promotion to its membership.

NMNA has launched Residential Construction and Remodelling Expo, a new trade fair aimed at the residential construction and remodelling market.
