AMERICAS - Advanstar Communications has expanded its Licensing Expo show floor at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas to include a Motorsports segment.
The new area will have four new sections: Art and Design, Characters and Entertainment, Fashion, and Agents and Brands which will include the Motorsports Café.
Advanstar will partner with motorsports experts RACE Motorsports Marketing and Hot Import Nights to organise and promote the new motorsports section.
“We are very excited to bring the action-packed world of motorsports into the spotlight at Licensing Expo and to clearly define the associated benefits from a business perspective,” said Brian Rock, president, RACE Motorsports Marketing.
Highlights of the new section will include vehicles and drivers featured from The National Hot Rod Association, SCORE International Off Road Racing, and Global Rally Cross.
“This is an exciting new venture for Licensing Expo and one that will raise the profile of sports licensing among our attending retailers and manufacturers,” said Jessica Blue, Licensing Expo vice president.
The exhibition will be held on 17-19 June at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
