New hall structure and layout for Viscom Dusseldorf 2014

EUROPE - Reed Exhibitions Deutschland has said next year’s Viscom Dusseldorf will enhance the profile of its six theme worlds through a re-arranged configuration of the show floor.

The design and printing show is set to take place at the Exhibition Centre Frankfurt from 5 to 7 November 2014 with an expansion of the exhibition area to two halls.

The organiser said Viscom will be structured into six core segments: Large format printing, signmaking, digital signage, POS display, POS packaging and object design. The new profile will be reflected in the hall layout where Viscom will occupy both levels of Hall 3, with the six theme worlds being clearly distinguishable as a result of the layout.

Each trade fair area will be colour-coded both in print materials and online, and the same colours will represent the six theme worlds at Viscom.

“The clear structure will make Viscom even more attractive to all kinds of exhibitor and visitor target groups,” said Viscom director Petra Lassahn.

“Thanks to the structured exhibition space, we’re able to create a common identity within each segment while offering everyone a chance to broaden their horizons and recognise and leverage synergies. It’s the perfect combination of being next to each other and being with each other.”

Reed said the 2013 edition of the show broke exhibitor records with 350 companies, up seven per cent compared to 2012. The attendee number also grew, with a total of 13,277 visitors attending the event compared to 12,100 at the 2012 show.
