EUROPE - Madrid venue and show organiser IFEMA has expanded its event offering in the technology and education sector with the launch of SIMO Educación.
The new trade show will be held on 16-18 October 2014 at Feria de Madrid in collaboration with the Educación 3.0 magazine.
The exhibition area of SIMO Educación 2014 will feature the latest technology used in the sector, as well as networking spaces, keynote addresses, hands-on workshops, seminars and round tables where visitors can examine the use of technology in the classroom.
The organiser aims to offer an ideal venue for technology firms, publishing houses and other interested parties to showcase their ICT products and solutions to the educational world.
“This initiative is based on the strategy used at previous editions of SIMO Network, which encourages the use of new technologies at companies, with particular emphasis on those sectors where ICTs can offer numerous improvements,” said a spokesman from the organiser.
IFEMA has now rolled out free Wi-Fi for visitors across five areas at the venue, as part of its infrastructure expansion.
