Reed Exhibitions strengthens global In-Cosmetics team

WORLD - Reed Exhibitions has made a series of key appointments within its events team for the In-Cosmetics portfolio.

The show organiser has promoted Lucy Gillam to senior event director, where she is now responsible for the overall management of the In-Cosmetics group’s portfolio of personal care ingredients events, including In-Cosmetics, In-Cosmetics Asia and the newly launched In-Cosmetics Brazil. Gillam joined the team in 2006 as exhibition manager, and has more than 15 years experience in the international events industry.
 
Former group marketing manager Cathy Laporte has been appointed to the role of exhibition manager, responsible for the planning, operational management and delivery of all aspects of the events. Laporte will lead the development and implementation of the show’s strategy including visitor promotion, sales campaigns, features and educational programmes. She has nine years experience working on the In-Cosmetics portfolio, and prior to this ran marketing campaigns for Air Liquide’s Japanese division.
 
Reed Exhibitions has appointed Daniel Zanetti as exhibition manager for In-Cosmetics Brazil, focusing on the launch of the event and its continued growth and development. He has worked at the Brazilian arm of Reed Exhibitions since 2006 and during this time has launched two international shows in the country.
 
Dijana Pejovic has been promoted to head of sales for the In-Cosmetics portfolio. With 10 years experience working on international events, Pejovic will manage the overall sales strategies for the European, Asian and South American events as well as overseeing 12 sales managers worldwide.
 
"The international beauty industry is thriving - in Europe, Asia and South America - so it made sense to grow our team in-line with this," said portfolio director B2B Division at Reed Exhibitions Ian Crawford. "We are confident that this move will enable us to continue to develop our portfolio, delivering events which inspire both exhibitors and visitors alike.”

Reed Exhibitions said the 2014 edition of In-Cosmetics at Messe Hamburg is already close to selling out.
