EUROPE - Maritime and offshore media group Navingo has claimed this year’s Offshore Energy exhibition and conference attracted a 20 per cent rise in visitor attendance.
The sixth edition took place on 15-16 October at Amsterdam Rai, with 9,123 visitors attending, up from 7,632 in 2012. A total of 414 exhibitors showcased their products and services.
The organiser said the exhibition floor space expanded this year from one to three exhibition halls and included the new China Pavilion, spanning 15,000sqm.
Offshore Energy 2013 hosted a series of conferences and seminars addressing advances in wave and tidal energy, North Sea exploration and production and state-of–the-art vessels for the offshore industry.
Next year’s Offshore Energy Exhibition and Conference will be held on 28-29 October 2014.
