EUROPE - More than 2,000 visitors descended on Turkey’s Lufti Kirdar Convention and Exhibition Centre for UBM Live’s inaugural IFSEC Istanbul.
The security event on 30 September – 2 October, featured around 160 exhibitors including Sensormatic, Y3K, Securitas, Mobotix, Sony and Panasonic.
“We have had an overwhelming response to IFSEC Istanbul and have been thrilled at the positivity received from the industry,” said UBM Istanbul general manager Kerim Bertrand. “We strive to create an arena that brings together all elements of the buying chain so business can be conducted effectively in one place.”
The IFSEC Istanbul Conference took place alongside the exhibition. The organiser said the next event in 2015 will provide an even greater scope of thought leading seminars with a dedicated focus on education.

According to the organiser, more than 60 per cent of exhibitors have already committed to the second edition of IFSEC Istanbul in 2015. UBM Live also organises IFSEC events in the UK, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.
