EUROPE - A subsidiary of Deutsche Messe, Hannover Fairs Turkey Fuarcilik, has partnered with Sektorel Fuarcilik, to co-organise its environmental energy event, ICCI.
Hannover Fairs will own the majority share of the joint venture company with Sektorel Fuarcilik, called Hannover Messe Sektorel Fuarcilik. The deal was assisted by Mayfield Media brokerage company.
“With its rapidly growing economy, Turkey has become one of the fastest growing energy markets in the world,” said Alexander Kuhnel, general manager of Hannover Fairs Turkey. “In this respect we are very pleased to join forces with Sektörel Fuarcılık in the development and growth of this cutting edge energy event.
“Deutsche Messe will merge the know-how of both companies and strengthen their position in organising trade fairs for the energy market. With this acquisition, Deutsche Messe continues its strategy to increase business activities together with its worldwide subsidiaries.”
The ICCI exhibition and conference attracts more than 16,000 visitors a year. Next year’s show will celebrate its 20th edition on 24-26 April 2014 at Istanbul Expo Center.
According to the organising team, the next ICCI will feature a general outlook on the energy sector worldwide and in Turkey, and focus on issues including liberalisation and re-structuring in energy, offer and demand projections, EU energy policies, as well as technical matters such as cogeneration, and high efficiency energy generation technologies.
