High international presence set for FESPA Eurasia

EUROPE - Screen and digital printing association FESPA has hailed its inaugural Eurasian edition a success, more than a week ahead of its opening.

FESPA Eurasia will take place at the CNR Expo, Istanbul, Turkey from 3 to 5 October. The organiser has reported a rise in international exhibitors with a presence from major international print brands including: Fujifilm, HP, MS, Roland, Xerox and Zund.

“It’s great to see major international brands supporting the inaugural show as well as exhibitors from the Eurasia region,” said FESPA exhibition manager Michael Ryan. “Their commitment reflects just what a valuable and growing market this is, reinforcing our decision to launch a show here.”

According to the organiser, due to increasing demand from exhibitors requesting to take larger stands currently unavailable in the halls, FESPA moved the exhibition into larger halls, making it one third bigger than its original size, now spanning 21,000sqm.

“In my 17 years in the exhibitions sector, I have never seen such an overwhelming response to a launch event,” said Neil Felton, FESPA MD. “The level of interest we are experiencing for FESPA Eurasia underlines the market’s appetite for an event of FESPA’s calibre.

“FESPA is renowned worldwide for delivering leading educational programmes securing key experts to share knowledge on the latest trends and examples of best practice to help print service providers develop their businesses profitably.”

FESPA reported a visitor boost at the London edition in July.
