AMERICAS - The organiser for the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) has said pre-registration visitor figures, workshop and seminar enrolment, and the number of exhibitors has increased from last year’s event.
The exhibition will showcase the latest in boat technology including the diesel-electric and solar-powered drive systems aboard the Greenline Hybrid from Greenline Yachts, and the purpose-built boat for saltwater fly fishing in the Northeast - the Flyfisher 22 , from 17 to 19 September at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.
In addition, visitors will be able to attend IBEX networking events including the Opening Night Party, the Composite Cocktail Competition and the All-Industry IBEX Bourbon and Brew Happy Hour.
“We are delighted that there is so much anticipation and excitement for IBEX this year,” said IBEX show director, Anne Dunbar. “The increase in our pre-registration numbers reflects continued optimism and growth in our industry after some tough economic times. We have more than 65 new companies exhibiting which is another good sign."
