Cleanzone co-locates with UBM Pharma show

EUROPE - Messe Frankfurt will be co-locating its cleanroom technology event with UBM’s global pharmaceuticals trade fair, CPhI Worldwide this October.

The ‘internationally oriented cross-sector meeting place for cleanroom technology’ is returning to Messe Frankfurt for its second show.

The organiser is expecting the show to surpass the 2012 event, with more than 1,000 international visitors set to attend on 22-23 October, including representatives from the pharmaceuticals, food, automotive, micro-technology, electronics and precision engineering industries.

Johannes Schmid-Wiedersheim, director of new events at Messe Frankfurt, said the industry was impressed by the first Cleanzone event. “We are continuing to receive very positive feedback, and are pleased that we will not only be greeting new exhibitors in October, but also pioneers from the debut event in 2012,” he said.

The 2013 show will cover a wider range of topics, including a new focus on two industry areas: “Technology & Micro-technology” and “Life Sciences”.

The Cleanzone Congress will return to the event, offering presentations that focus on the future, fundamental knowledge, concrete expertise, optimisation and operation taken directly from actual practice.

Last year, CPhI Worldwide attracted 30,000 visitors.
