Reed Exhibitions expects biggest Decofair yet

MIDDLE EAST - The Decofair Kitchen and Bathroom event is set to be the biggest ever, according to Reed Exhibitions, the show organiser.

This year will be the show’s fifth anniversary, taking place at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events from 29 November to 2 December.

More than 11,200 visitors attended the 2012 event, with 100 exhibitors across 9,800sqm of exhibition space.

Last year Reed Exhibitions’ joint venture Sunaidi partnered with Saudi Arabian business and industry confederation Tukson Evrensel Fuar, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkiye.

“Decofair is a dynamic platform for designers and traders to generate sales leads and anticipate future creative techniques in the design and manufacture of furniture and home accessories," said Mohammed Alfadl, president of Alfadhl, the parent company of  Sunaidi. "The partnership will secure us a strong position within the exhibitions sector. We will no doubt benefit from Reed's global reach and vast expertise in this area."

The partnership covers all of Sunaidi’s events taking place in Saudi Arabia in 2013, including Saudi Kitchen and Bathroom Expo, co-located with Saudi Pool and Spa 2013, plus the Mother, Baby and Kids Expo and Foodex Saudi.

New to the 2013 show is Decofair Discussions, an educational show-floor design seminars from leading international industry professionals. The Decofair University Design Showcase, DecoFair VIP Hosted Buyer Programme and onsite design house will also feature at the event for the first time.

The Decofair Office and Commerical event will be held alongside the show, dedicated to international office and commercial suppliers targeting Saudi Arabian contract design and fit-out industries.
