AMERICAS - The North American arm of Messe Nuremberg is launching a new trade fair aimed at the residential construction and remodelling market.
The inaugural Residential Construction and Remodelling Expo will be held on 7-9 October 2014 at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta.
“Atlanta is the business capital of the South East and home to many Fortune 500 Companies who serve this industry, such as Home Depot, Georgia Pacific, UPS, Shaw Carpets and many more,” said executive director of the Georgia World Congress Center, Frank Poe.
According to the National Association of Home Builders and US Census, residential construction and remodelling has picked up in the United States after the housing crisis and ensuing recession.
The remodelling market has grown in the second quarter of 2013 with the Remodelling Market Index (RMI) rising six points to 55, where a score above 50 is considered good.

The Center for Exhibition Industry Research (c) has recently launched a new programme offering exhibition organisers reduced event packages in Atlanta.
