Tarsus partners in Jakarta for housewares and gift expo

ASIA - Tarsus Group has partnered with Jakarta-based organiser Dyandra Promosindo to launch an Indonesian edition of housewares and gift exhibition Zuchex.
 
Zuchex Indonesia will be held on 13-15 November 2014 at the Jakarta Convention Center, and is expected to attract over 200 exhibitors showcasing electrical appliances, steel, kitchen appliances, glassware, porcelain, home textiles, and giftware.
 
More than 3,000 visitors are expected to attend the show.
 
The inaugural event will follow the same format as the organiser’s Istanbul edition, acquired by Tarsus last year, nearing its aim to make half of all revenues from emerging markets by 2013.
 
“With the boom in home ownership in Indonesia and consumer spending accounting for 57 per cent of GDP, this show presents a fantastic opportunity for the house wares industry,” said a spokesman from Tarsus.
 
The organiser said the culture of family gatherings and entertaining at home in Indonesia provides a huge potential market for sales. “The show will not only attract Indonesian visitors but the marketing campaign will deliver quality buyers from across South East Asia,” said the spokesman.

Tarsus Group and Dyandra Promosindo also partnered for a new automotive aftermarket exhibition in Jakarta in March 2014.
