TCEB drives growth with promotions

ASIA - The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has made two key appointments to help strengthen operations in driving Thailand as a preferred MICE destination in Asia.

Supawan Teerarat has been appointed as the new vice president of the organisation, where she will oversee TCEB’s overall strategy and business development, including exhibitions, meetings, incentives, conventions, MICE capabilities and domestic MICE.

Teerarat has worked as general manager of the International Promotion and Exhibition Company (IPEX), marketing director of APRIME hotels group, marketing director of Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, and BITEC’s project director.

Prior to her most recent role of exhibition director at TCEB, she was director of business development of registration and domestic and international trade promotion company, WESCO.

TCEB has promoted Jaruwan Suwannasat (pictured) to succeed Teerarat as new director of exhibitions, following her previous role as the organisation’s senior strategic and marketing manager.

“She has a thorough understanding of the exhibition trade and is fully committed to lead our efforts in promoting Thailand’s exhibition industry,” said Teerarat. “I trust she will bring continuity and excellence in all we do, and her appointment will reinforce the close relationship Thailand already enjoys with the global exhibition community.”

Last month, Nopparat Maythaveekulchai joined TCEB as the new president of the organisation.
