Audiovisual event sees visitor increase in Orlando

AMERICAS - The organiser of InfoComm has hailed this year’s audiovisual event a success, attracting a 2.5 per cent increase in visitors compared to 2012.

More than 35,000 audiovisual buyers and sellers attended the event, up from 34,268 at last year’s show. InfoComm 2013 had 937 companies exhibit across 44,000sqm of exhibition space, on 8-14 June at the Orange County Convention Center, in Orlando.

“The marketplace strongly supports the InfoComm show, and we are grateful for the attendee support and for the innovative exhibitors who are committed to making InfoComm a can’t miss event on the industry calendar,” said InfoComm International executive director and CEO David Labuskes.

The organiser also had a successful year at InfoComm China 2013, attracting a record 19,431 visitors. The next edition in the series is the InfoComm Middle East and Africa 2013 in October, held in Dubai.

“InfoComm is the ideal place to make AV purchasing decisions, connect with contacts and learn principles that will boost your effectiveness," said Labuskes.
