Spintelligent reports high energy at African Utility Week

AFRICA - Organiser Spintelligent has claimed this year’s African Utility Week a success with the launch of its Utility CEO Forum, attracting nearly 5,000 visitors to the event.

The 13th trade exhibition for the power and water sector co-located with Clean Power Africa on 14-15 May at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).

“We now have a truly international show,” said event director Russell Hughes.

“We had the biggest expo to date with 10,900sqm in floor space for 220 exhibitors and sponsors, many of whom were already queuing up during the event to rebook larger exhibition space for when they return next year.”

Programme director Claire Volkwyn was pleased with the inaugural Utility CEO Forum, which featured discussions between CEOs.

"We are very excited about the next CEO Forum and to taking these discussions forward," she added.

African Utility Week and Clean Power Africa will return to the CTICC on 13-14 May 2014.
