ASIA - The AsiaWorld-Expo venue has unveiled a new interactive platform to become a “one-stop Hong Kong SME information centre for overseas businesses and local visitors.”
The iSME Showcase is an information portal to help Hong Kong SMEs promote their products and services to further expand their markets, a spokesman from the venue said.
In collaboration with trade associations including the Hong Kong Exporters Association, iSME Showcase will also assist SMEs to promote home-grown brands.
“SMEs account for more than 90 per cent of Hong Kong’s economic structure, which represents a significant economic pillar,” said the venue’s CEO Allen Ha. “We hope to leverage the advantages of our international platform and huge visitor flow to launch iSME Showcase which we believe can help Hong Kong SMEs market their products and services to the world, promote these brands and further expand their markets and business potential.”
Ealirer this year, the Hong Kong ministry said co-operation, not expansion, is key to venue success.
