Reed appoints new CIBTM and AIME event director

WORLD - Reed Travel Exhibitions, organiser of industry trade shows Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings (AIME - Melbourne) and the China Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition (CIBTM - Beijing) has announced the appointment of Jacqui Timmins as event director of both shows.

She takes the reins from former CIBTM and AIME director Sally de Swart who managed the Melbourne event since 2011.

Timmins has 25 years travel industry experience and previously worked as General Manager for Travelscene American Express and also in management positions at Stella Travel Services and Qantas Airways.

She has been a board member of the Australia Federation of Travel Agents and says she is looking forward to joining the RTE team.

“I have observed the growth and innovation of AIME and CIBTM over the past few years and I’m excited to be taking these events forward in the coming years,” she adds.

CIBTM next takes place in Beijing 2-4 September 2013. AIME returns next on 18 and 19 February 2014.

Reed has revealed EIBTM will feature a new look and feel to the event ahead of a show floor redesign in September.
