Craft beverage event launched to serve growing industry

AMERICAS – VP International is launching a new event aimed for the boutique winery, craft brewery, and craft distillery industry.

Craft Beverage Expo is scheduled to take place on 6-8 May at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, California.

The organisers hope the event will bring together the entire craft beverage industry, specifically producers of small batch hand-made alcoholic beverages, to look at the best practices.

“We want to give a voice to the craft beverage producers whose needs are very different from traditional large-scale producers,” said Craft Beverage Expo’s executive director Kellie Shevlin.

According to VP International, the California Craft Brewing Association and other groups representing the craft beverage industry will be working in conjunction with the show.

This is the fourth recent launch announced by VP International in which they will be managing the show. These include Medical World Americas, a collaboration between the Greater Houston Convention & Visitors Bureau and Messe Dusseldorf North America, taking place on 28-30 April  2014.

Last year, Germany’s Messe Dusseldorf partnered with Grupo Cipa to launch new event Wire South America.
