World Meetings Forum 2013 debuts in Mexico

AMERICAS - The World Meetings Forum 2013 (WMF) is coming to Central America for the first time later this year.

The specialised meeting forum will take place on 14-16 June at the Aventura Palace Hotel, Quintana Roo.
 
The event will bring together keynote speakers to discuss and analyse global trends in the tourism industry and will feature workshops, networking activities and meetings with international associations such as AOCA (Argentina), ADOCA (Brazil), PCO (Mexico) and PROEXPORT (Colombia).
 
Key note speakers at the forum include the International Congress and Convention Association’s president Arnaldo Nardone, International Association of Exhibitions and Events’ president Jonathan Cox and International Association of Professional Congress Organizers’ president Gonzalo Perez Constanzó.
 
WMF will hold the Exhibition Industry Conference Day during the event, hosted by Reed Exhibitions president Marco Giberti and Spanish Fairs Association’ president José Antonio Vicente.
 
In other news, global exhibition association UFI formalised the creation of a Latin America Chapter in Sao Paolo, supporting the professional exhibition industry in the region.
