Emergency rescue event receives support from industry organisations

ASIA - Beijing’s Emergency Rescue Expo (ERE) has gained backing from the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) to advance the Chinese emergency rescue industry.

The third edition of the show, scheduled to take place on 16-18 September at the National Agricultural Exhibition Center in Beijing, will be co-located with the IAEM Asia Annual Meeting.

IAEM promotes the importance of emergency management, protecting property and the environment during emergencies and disasters.

The organisation will hold a pavilion on the exhibit floor comprised of member companies, providing an overview of emergency management training and certification for Chinese emergency management personnel.

"IAEM has been active in China for several years and continues to expand its membership base and outreach in Asia,” said IAEM’s global chairman Ellis Stanley.

The event is co-organised by E.J. Krause & Associates, and authorised by the Ministry of Commerce of People's Republic of China and has already received the support from organisations such as the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, National Security and Emergency Rescue Command Center, and the Equipment & Finance Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security.

Earlier this month, charity Food Angels received support from UBM Asia and venue HKCEC who joined forces to fight hunger with donations from events.
