Preutenborbeck to succeed Hannwacker at NürnbergMesse

GERMANY - Thomas Preutenborbeck is the new director of exhibitions for the IWA & OutdoorClassics, Enforce Tac, Evenord and Perimeter Protection exhibitions at NürnbergMesse.

Preutenborbeck will succeed Gabriele Hannwacker, who will retire in autumn 2013 after 35 years in the role.

“We are delighted with the appointment of Thomas Preutenborbeck, as we have gained a successor who has already been actively committed to our company and exhibitions for almost 15 years,” said Dr Roland Fleck, managing director of NürnbergMesse.

“Peter Ottmann and I regard his career – from trainee to director of exhibitions – as a perfect example of successful personnel development at NürnbergMesse.”

Preutenborbeck studied business management after completing his training at NürnbergMesse GmbH. He has been involved in the organization and further development of IWA & OutdoorClassics for the whole of his time in the company. He also played a decisive role in developing Enforce Tac.

“This makes it all the nicer for me to now continue as director responsible for these two exhibitions,” says Preutenborbeck. “I have felt very closely associated with the IWA sector for many years and am looking forward to jointly shaping a successful future.”
