IAEE secures Brazil expo union deal

AMERICAS - The International Association for Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) has signed a collaboration agreement with the Brazilian Union of Prosecutors of Trade (UBRAFE).

The partnership will see jointly sponsored activities and events and the extension of members’ pricing for all products, services and meetings from both organisations.

UBRAFE is a private entity established in 1986 to represent companies involved in organising, promoting, operating and installing major trade fairs in Brazil.

“This important agreement and partnership with IAEE promotes our internationalisation politically and stimulates the professional relationships between both associations,” said UBRAFE president Juan Pablo de Vera.

IAEE president David DuBois welcomed the link-up.

“I am pleased the IAEE has developed this collaborative relationship with UBRAFE, and I look forward to exploring opportunities for an even closer relationship,” he said.

Exhibition organisers looking to enter Brazil are being offered assistance by a new partnership established between Trillium Partners and Base Capital Partners earlier this year.
