Messe Frankfurt hosts trio of digital innovation expos

EUROPE - Messe Frankfurt is claiming it will be the centre of the digital world later this month when three trade shows focused on digital advancement descend on its halls.

Voice + IP, Powering the Cloud and the World Publishing Expo are aimed at business communications, cloud computing and the future of media in a digital landscape respectively. The organisers expect to attract 15,000 visitors and have struck an agreement allowing registered delegates for oneevent free access to the other two offerings.

Messe Frankfurt organises Voice + IP, which will be held at its Forum on 30-31 October. Its conference programme includes 90 speakers across presentations, workshops and panel discussions.

Powering the Cloud is the umbrella name adopted by three conferences, SNW Europe, Datacenter Technologies and Virtualization World, which takes place in Messe Frankfurt’s Congress Center on 30-31 October. These are organised by Angel Business Communications and the Storage Networking Industry Association and incorporate 130 sessions.

The World Publishing Expo is organised by the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) and takes place in Hall 8 on 29-31 October. More than 8,000 visitors from 100 countries are expected to attend the exhibition, along with 250 exhibitors.

“Messe Frankfurt is developing into an important ideas marketplace in the fast-emerging digital business sector,” claimed Messe Frankfurt Exhibition board of management member and vice-president of digital business, Klaus Reinke.
