Tarsus partners in Jakarta for Indonesia auto aftermarket fair

ASIA - Tarsus Group has partnered with Dyandra Promosindo, organiser of the Indonesian Motor Show, for a new automotive aftermarket exhibition in Jakarta in March 2014.

The organiser of the China International Automotive Aftermarket Industry and Tuning Trade Fair (AAITF), pictured, hopes the success will be replicated in Jakarta.

Tarsus claims the new Indonesian edition will be country’s first auto aftermarket trade show with a specific focus on the fast developing modification and tuning markets. It will take place in a 3,900sqm hall at Jakarta venue JIExpo Kemayoran, showcasing more than 170 companies from the automotive aftermarket industry, including products from the audio/visual, electronics, modification, decoration, care and maintenance sectors.

Running over three days, the B2B exhibition is hoped to attract 10,000 buyers looking for inspiration and innovation from AAITF’s largely international exhibitor base, helped by combining the experience of both organisers.

Dyandra was advised throughout the deal by Mayfield Media Strategies.

Indonesia is ranked as 15th in world economic growth rankings, with six per cent GDP growth forecast for 2012, growth expected to increase car sales in Indonesia by up to 50 per cent in the next five years.

Tarsus Group reported 14 per cent underlying growth in like-for-like revenue and a half-yearly result of £19.2m (US$29.7m) for the first six months of the year.
