AMERICAS - The International Center for Exhibitor and Event Marketing (The Center) has elected its 2013 board of directors.
The Center's officers, who will all serve until December 2013, will be: Michael Lynn (L-3 Communications) as chairman; Doreen Biela (Light Speed) as immediate past chair; and Barry Siskind (International Training and Management Company) as secretary.
“I am looking forward to the upcoming year and the new ideas and content that The Center will create to engage exhibit managers and event marketers,” said Lynn. “It is truly an exciting and challenging time in the exhibitions and events industry and with the wealth of experience brought to the table by these leaders, we will refine our work and offerings for this market and continue to set the industry standards started under the extraordinary leadership from past chairs Doreen Biela and Kimberly Gishler, who have both helped shape this new organisation.”
New to The Center's board of directors this year are Diane Benson (GE Healthcare); Glenda Brungardt (Hewlett-Packard); Jeff Masters (Philips Healthcare); Joe Pulizzi (Content Marketing Institute); and Ian Sequeira (Exhibit Surveys), who will all serve their terms until December 2014.
